My party of 3 had dinner on a Saturday evening and it was an okay experience overall. There was ample parking but there wasn’t any structure. You have to just find a spot on the grounds. We had a reservation and were seated quickly. We started with the baked Brie appetizer. It wasn’t bad but it wasn’t great. We all ordered the salmon dish because it sounded the most appealing. I’m not a fan of salmon but the dish was pretty good. Service was also good and I’d definitely be willing to dine here again.
If you’re looking for an authentic Louisiana experience, Palmettos on the Bayou is a must-visit. Traveling from DC, we were blown away by the Sunday Brunch Buffet, honestly the best we’ve had in years! The variety is staggering and the value is unbeatable. Between the live jazz and the stunning bayou views, the atmosphere is pure magic. The highlight? The "Lagniappe" service: friendly staff circulating with the best charbroiled oysters I’ve ever tasted and warm, pillowy beignets. A true 10/10!
My husband and I took the trip to experience the Sunday Brunch All You Can Eat and it did not disappoint. The service and food was great! We will definitely be back.
The atmosphere here was ok. Our waitress was definitely attentive and made ensured that our night was pleasurable. The food however was not at all good. Very disappointing. The oysters were NOT well done and came back raw twice! The drinks were made with bottom shelf liquor. Overall, the space is beautiful.
10/10 experience at Palmettos. We loved the bacon and Brie oysters. Delicious main courses. Enjoyed the bread pudding with a unique twist! Great service and loved sitting in the outdoor dining area
