We are from out of town and found the place on Google. It didn't have many reviews but they were all good so we decided to give it a try. To be honest we were a little skeptical as we rolled up. It is a tiny with no inside seats and just one guy working. We ordered a variety of items and they were all delicious. My kids are very picky eaters and they all loved what they got. They insist that if we ever visit SC again we have to go. I wish I had gotten the owners name but he was super nice and helpful. I loved my po boy and the kids loved their wings and chicken strips. Don't let the small unusually location deter you from going, it is great food at a great price.
Been trying to check this place out for a while, especially since it’s 2 blocks from the house. Really glad I did. Got a little of everything to try out. My roommates got the cheeseburgers, and enjoyed them. For mine, the scallops were good. Not overcooked or rubbery. The shrimp, while a little small, were very tasty. The oysters were really good. My fave tho were the gizzards, cooked to perfection. I also got sides of fried okra and fried green beans. Both were great compliment. The owner was very nice and engaging. Def recommend and will be back soon myself.
Friday night we ordered fried shrimp, Cajun fries, and hush puppies. The menu listed the shrimp as “large,” but they were smaller than expected and had that pre-cooked, bagged texture, which was disappointing. The Cajun fries were overly seasoned, and the hush puppies weren’t very good either. I’m not sure if we caught the place on an off night, but our first experience wasn’t great. That said, given all the positive reviews, I’m willing to give it another try in the future.
We just had a late lunch at this hole in the wall/ hidden treasure. Everything was freshly made and hot! It was all good! We especially loved the refreshing and sweet mango smoothies. There’s a couple of picnic tables under the shade to enjoy your food or take it to go. We will try again when we visit next time!
This is my second time at this establishment. The staff was awesome, food came out hot and fresh . Season to perfection, I had the Shrimp Alfredo which was delicious. Recommend 10/10...
