O'Toole's Pub

Did our own South shore bar pie tour and O’Toole’s blew away anything else we tried. Crispy and delicious. Big Mac pizza seemed crazy on paper but was fantastic. Bar was packed and the two bartenders were still rocking it. Great vibe overall and highly recommended!

Excellent bar pizza, for starters. I ordered the pepperoni and sweet corn. Loved it. Also ordered a Guinness, and received one of the best pours ever. Super psyched, as that saves me driving all the way to Quincy for a decent pint. Atmosphere is kind of divey, but not in a bad way. Small, intimate space with great service. I went on Monday night, wasn’t too crowded. Will be back for more pints!

Went there last night with my boyfriend and had one of the most frustrating experiences. I brought my valid ID, my student ID, and even a picture of my passport, and I was still denied service even though I am 21 and my ID is completely legal. They told me it was because my ID was out of state, which makes no sense because my friend from Rhode Island went there two weeks ago and had no issue getting in — she literally told me I should check it out. It was honestly ridiculous. I just turned 21 and was excited to go and instead I was turned away for no real reason while my boyfriend had no issue getting in. Really disappointing and I definitely won’t be coming back.

Loved the atmosphere, the staff and the bar pie. Definitely hit this place up when in the area.

Excellent south shore bar pizza on par w Lynwood and Town Spa. Nice cozy irish pub atmosphere and very friendly service.
