Customer Reviews
The food is decent and it's nice to have a Greek option in town. I would order from here a lot more but the prices to order take out increase significantly from the menu prices even when I'm picking up the food myself. There was also an extra charge for the sauce included with the cheesesteak and no option to not add a sauce.
Stopped in for a delicious lunch. We ordered the spanokopita and dolmades for appetizers. For the main dish, I ordered the shrimp kebab (set as a platter with succulent large shrimp, rice, delicious pita slices, and perfectly grilled veggies) and my partner got the beef/lamb souvlaki. Both dishes knocked it out of the park. As for vibe, Opa has a mom & pop vibe, warm and inviting, can even be romantic in its atmospheric simplicity. It’s a casual spot, at least by day when we went, but the food and feel is so great it’s a versatile spot: romantic dinner for two, take out, casual dine in or lunch in. Thrilled to have a good authentic greek place around. Definitely will be back!
Avoid Opa Grille! We tried their food for the first time, ordered takeout online— tzatziki sauce was supposed to be included, and we paid extra to add hummus. The tzatziki was missing which left us with dry chicken and potatoes (Souvlaki platter). The manager claimed they “assumed” we substituted hummus for tzatziki (even though the receipt clearly shows we paid extra). The “mildly spicy” request was ignored, and the food was extremely bland. Instead of resolving it, she blamed the online ordering system, told me to contact them myself for a refund (with no number provided), hung up on me, and then told me to essentially leave them alone when I called back. Mistakes happen — but dismissing customers and taking zero accountability is unacceptable. They are rude, disrespectful, and have zero
My husband and I visited foothill castle and were looking for something healthy and delicious after our visit. We found Opa and the food was excellent. The grape leaves were wonderful and nice portion. The fries were fresh and had left over to bring home. Definitely will go back when we visit the area again.
Not good. Ordered a chicken kabob platter. You have to order tatziki sauce as an extra. The platter should come with a small helping of tatziki. Food was delivered. No Tatziki sauce. The food was horribly salty. Every piece of chicken was veiny and disgusting. You just wouldn't expect that here. Never going back here. It was truly inedible.
