Swede&Sour

I have been on the hunt to find authentic Swedish pastries and so glad I stumbled upon swede and Sour! I got 2 kanelbullar, and one of the blueberry scones. Fantastic! I didn't pick up any bread but it looked amazing so I have no doubts about that. The women working there were friendly and took their time to go over everything. Would absolutely stop by again!

Wow the rye loaf was really good. But the best part was the sourdough brownie - I bake a lot and I’m super picky about desserts but that’s the best brownie I’ve ever had. They’re also super nice and friendly. I’ll definitely be back and highly recommend this little shop!

Love stopping in when I can. Owner is extremely kind and happy to talk about her process and the benefits of sourdough. And also happy to answer any questions. If you’re lucky enough to go on focaccia day, you are lucky indeed. It’s fantastic.

Very quaint and relaxed bakery. I have been here on a couple of occasions and they never disappoint. Came for the Viking bread this journey but, it wasn’t made this week. Opted for the round sourdough loaf and it was delicious. Picked up two of the cardamom buns and ate them with my wife for breakfast. Yummy! Also grabbed one oatmeal raisin cookie for dessert last evening and it put a smile on my face. It was moist and chewy with plenty of raisins and paired well with a cup of coffee. One could put a dollop of vanilla bean ice cream on top and have a legitimate dessert. Thanks again.

Best sourdough bread we have had in years. Cookies were delicious. Picked up 2 english muffins, made there, can't wait to try them. Owner was rolling out cookies, she took the time to explain what she was making. Looking forward to our next visit!
