Last minute trip. The room was spotless!!! And spacious. The inn keeper was very nice. No elevators and all the rooms start on the 2nd floor and higher. A cute bar/resteraunt is a bonus and it had a steady flow of customers. Location is excellent. Reserved parking spots. The amount of snow is still tough for parking but they are managing. A definite place to come back to.
Charming inn with newly renovated rooms. Very reasonably priced. Our King room was on the top floor which gave us a view of the ocean. The inn is right in downtown area and within walking distance of most restaurants, shops, beach, and the Marginal Way Trail. The bed was extremely comfortable, the room was large, and everything was very clean. We had a designated parking space too. A nice touch was that the innkeeper called us before we checked in to let us know our room was ready early and where to park. I would definitely stay here again!
We’ve enjoyed the new chef at the restaurant right from the start, after the new owners took over a year ago. This was our first stay and it was absolutely perfect. The room was beautiful, clean and comfortable and their new renovations prove to be spot on. Location was spectacular. Lauren, the Inn Keeper made our stay extra special. She was extremely helpful and friendly and made sure our stay was beyond expectations. And, yes the food and bar are still really great. Though we usually visit town in summer, this was a perfect winter getaway spot. We will definitely be back.
Lovely inn Pub/restaurant was amazing I had the best prime rib I've ever had in my life. Jack the bartender was awesome. Made my bahama mama's with ease..delicious. rooms were amazing, clean, well appointed. The only downside was the stairs up to the rooms. Treacherous lol If my room was on floor 1 (which has no rooms) 5 stars. My fault I didn't pay attention. Hostess/innkeeper/bookkeeper was willing to help also Would highly recommend this restaurant, pub AND Inn.
We had such a brilliant time at The Old Village Inn in Bembridge. The menu has a fantastic range of proper pub favourites and every dish we tried was absolutely spot on – generous portions and full of flavour. Andy and his staff couldn’t have been more friendly or welcoming, creating a lovely relaxed vibe throughout. The atmosphere is just perfect – warm, buzzing, and full of character. A real gem of a pub that we’ll definitely be coming back to! Lots of love from the thick as folk on table 15
