Perfectly located between Chapel Hill and Duke, directly across from Walmart. Already popular, with a steady stream of customers for both dine-in and takeout. Top Recommendations: Fish Fillets with Salted Egg Yolk: A standout dish. Forget dry fish—this features tender fillets coated in a fragrant, savory salted egg yolk crust that's so flavorful it needs no sauce. Guo Bao Rou: The traditional sweet & sour pork. Incredibly crispy with that satisfying "crunch," made authentically with vinegar and sugar. Kids couldn't get enough. Dry-Fried Green Beans: Fresh beans wok-fried to a tender-crisp texture, sweet and packed with savory minced pork. Irresistibly good! Authentic and delicious. We'll be returning soon!

I was excited to try OK Asia Express after seeing many recent positive reviews and noticing how many Asian customers were there. Unfortunately, our experience was disappointing. The food was bland, overly oily, and didn’t taste authentic. The three cup chicken used the wrong cut of chicken, the stir-fried beans were soggy, and overall the dishes just tasted off. On top of that, there were a lot of tiny bugs around the windows, which was unpleasant. The service was fine, but based on our visit, I’m surprised to see so many great reviews.

We had the lunch special General tso Chicken and something else on the list. Food was 9/10 only because the fried rice was missing something but the other meals were spot on eye-closing tongue tingling delicious!! The service was great and they were so patient with us, as I took a while (like I’d normally do) to decide on an order, and someone came to walk us through the different options and make recommendations. We dined in and were served with grace and clean utensils. The portions were great as well especially for the price point. The elderly server was also incredibly warm and we felt looked after even with all the other orders coming through. Kudos to the team and ohhhh the egg roll was incredibly tasty. 7stars if I could.

I bought one of the most expensive dishes at lunchtime. It cost me $23 for the beef brisket and tomatoes. This dish was literally 50 to 60% ALL FAT not meat. When I brought it to the attention of the cashier, she did not offer to remedy the issue at all just expected me to pay a ridiculous amount of money for a plate full of fat. I boxed it up and brought it to my dogs because I will be damned if I’m going to pay $23 for food to go in the garbage. They really should be ashamed of themselves. I will never come back here again. And that’s sad because I have eaten here before and I really liked it, but the disrespect was too much! Also do NOT use their bathroom. It was disgusting. Diarrhea on the outside of the toilet that they clearly haven’t cleaned in months.

The dine-in experience was much better than the takeout. I was very disappointed with three of the four meals I ordered from the lunch menu fr take out. An overabundance of rice, the beef was chewy and inedible, the vegetables could have been cut into smaller sizes and there was absolutely no gravy or sauces in any of the dishes. Very disappointed and somewhat embarrassed since the meals failed to satisfy.
