Octave Grill

All the food was perfectly cooked and had amazing flavor. We were sat next to the window which was very cold in the winter and the very small dining room temperature fluctuated each time the door opened. Service was friendly and food came out in a reasonable time. Overall a very nice burger joint we look forward to returning to!

This place was recommended by my friend who is a local. Drove from Illinois to Michigan and am really glad we stopped by. Some of the best burgers I’ve ever had. I didn’t realize how small the place was when we decided to go. Was pleasantly surprised that they could accommodate our large group. Prices were very reasonable. Beer list is short but includes a pilsner, ipa, stout, and seltzer water. Everything you need really. Will definitely be coming back!

Food was great prices were surprisingly good I think the only thing this place can use is some more space it was extremely loud which made for kind of a hard place to have conversation with my aunt. Other than that my fig and goat burger was amazing no skimping out on any fig jam or goat cheese bacon was a little to crispy for my taste but still a great tasting burger and it was perfectly cooked. The fries were good and the perch cakes we got were pretty good as well though surprisingly small so just know before you order.

Saw this place was one of the more highly rated places to eat in Chesterton and I can see why now. The burgers were very good along with everything else honestly. The bacon fat garlic fries were good but seemed off, but could’ve just been personal preference. I had the Mexican style burger with guacamole and it was better than expected. Only complaint is it was over cooked for what I ordered but was still great. The desert was some kind of mint chocolate fudge brownie with ice cream and it was very good. The dining room was very tiny and had no blinds so the whole dining room was blinded by the sun until it got later in the day. With that said it was an overall great experience and will be back to try other menu items.

Found this little burger joint to have an extremely pleasant atmosphere and the food was well cooked and tasted amazing! We came toward the end of closing but they graciously fit us in and gave us wonderful service!
