Lucrezia Café

Used to be a long time fan of this restaurant. recently moved back into town and ordered some take out for the wife and 2 kids to show them how good it was. I ordered the sacchetti and penne primavera with chicken, two old favorites. 55$ later I arrive home with two To-go containers that are half the size they used to be. I was so disappointed with the portions and won’t be ordering from them again even though they used to be a favorite. Food was still good but portions were like having a kids meal. I will attach a photo to show. Hope things go back to the way they were.

This was our first time here and we really enjoyed the food and atmosphere. It was a full house and the waiter was fantastic! Restaurant and bathroom very very clean. It was snowing when we left and the lights they have hung outside brought joy and felt like a winter wonderland. I only priced the food this high with drinks included.

The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and our server, Christopher, elevated the entire experience with his attentiveness, friendly demeanor, and thoughtful recommendations. He struck the perfect balance of being present without ever hovering, which made our evening both relaxed and enjoyable. For dinner, we chose two standout pasta dishes: the Penne Pasta casserole with Bolognese sauce and the Rigatone with braised Italian sausage. Both were absolutely delicious—rich, hearty, and perfectly prepared, showcasing the rustic Italian flavors Lucrezia’s is known for. Italian Spaghetti was excellent. Veal Meatballs were fine. Cucumber Tomato Onion Salad was great. Very good service. Vodka Tonic hit the spot. Lots of pasta, appetizers, salads, soup and entrees. Full bar menu. Outdoor seating available.

Mine and my husband's first time here. We have both worked in the service industry in the past and I must say, the food, and the service was immaculate. The establishment was super clean and they refilled our drinks without us having to ask (which is huge to us.) The food was beautiful in regards to presentation and very flavorful. I had the chicken piccata and my husband had the short ribs (which was so tender!). Also, you get free bread and oil (the oil tasted so fresh!) I wish I could give more than 5 stars. Our server, Maureen, was excellent! Very welcoming and knew her menu. We would highly recommend! By far, the best Italian restaurant in the area, and we drove about 40 minutes to get here. Well worth the drive and we will definitely be back!
