The Vibe: Elevated casual with a little bit of quirky artistic flair. The spacious second story patio offers scenic river views and has a mix of shade and sun. We had the very best riverview table- absolutely stunning, and the historically inspired mural on the adjacent building adds to the ambiance. We came for an early dinner anniversary date, and there were a few little kids there, but as the evening wore on, it became more of an adult crowd. I think you could feel comfortable wearing jeans here, but most men opted for chino shorts and polos or button down shorts, and there were several women in sundresses or nicer blouses and shorts. Oak & Front Kitchen and Bar is easily one of the best restaurants in Washington, Missouri. We stopped in for Sunday brunch and it did not disappoint. I ordered the American breakfast with a boozy iced coffee and both were fantastic. The breakfast was cooked perfectly, fresh, and very flavorful. The atmosphere in downtown Washington, MO is great and makes it a perfect place for a relaxed weekend brunch. The service was friendly and the whole experience was top notch. Their lunch menu looked amazing as well, so we’ll definitely be coming back to try it soon. If you’re looking for a great brunch, breakfast, or lunch spot in Washington, Missouri, Oak & Front Kitchen and Bar is absolutely worth visiting.

Amazing cocktails. The staff is great. The food also did not disappoint. The Old Fashioned is one of the best I've ever had. Excellent place for cocktails. The ambiance is comfortable and calm. Great spot in Washington. We went there twice on a 3 day trip and will continue to stop in any time we're in town.

Had an amazing experience last Saturday at lunch! Our server was a gem even though she was alone and being run all over. She kept a smile and helped us with everything we needed and beyond! The food was great! We had the Ham & Jam and Bang Bang Club which were amazing! The Old Fashioned and Pornstar were perfectly balanced drinks! We've been here several times and it's always a great experience. We highly recommend Oak & Front!
