Brick Inn Bed and Breakfast

Absolutely the best experience possible. The folks were friendly and cared for our needs. Their home is beautiful inside and out. Breakfast each morning was exactly what we desired and tasty. The town is growing quickly with an old-time charm. We walked over 33k steps in two days. We biked 32 miles on the Katy Trail. The weather was perfect as well, we simply lucked out. If you like charm and quirky fun, I highly recommend this place as we plan to return many times in the future. Peace!

We stayed here for a quick weekend getaway with friends. Art & Kathy are great hosts. After arriving, Art gives you a quick town tour. I tried to get a ride in his antique car but only my friend got to because it was her birthday. I was sad. However, our stay made up for it. I would recommend the Dutch & Duchess room on the lower level. You get the living room with this room. We had other friends in the upstairs rooms and this made for a great hang out place. I would still recommend this room even if staying by yourself-well worth the extra cost. The breakfasts were amazing! Kathy really put love and care into everything from the fruit cups to the AMAZING french toast casserole. Beds were comfortable, clean room, fridge in each room with water and soda, beautiful historic home! Tree swings

My husband and I stayed at Art and Kathy's lovely Brick Inn Bed and Breakfast for a weekend getaway. We initially chose their place because it looked so nice and because it was on the ground level. And our stay there more than met our expectations! We stayed in the Duke and Duchess Suite. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. We especially enjoyed have a living room area to relax in! The bathroom was smaller but the rain showerhead was wonderful. The breakfasts both mornings were delicious. And Art even took us on a brief tour of the town of Washington the evening we arrived, pointing out local restaurants and places to visit and shop. This Bed & Breakfast was awesome. Art and Kathy were amazing Hosts. The room was very cozy. The bed was super comfy. There was coffee and tea waiting for us outside our room every morning. Breakfast each morning was delicious. Art even took us on a 10 minute tour, in his car, of downtown Washington. I’m definitely booking this place again when we come back to Washington, MO.

Paul and I have just returned from an enjoyable weekend stay in the Duke and Duchess Suite at The Brick Inn Bed and Breakfast. Art and Kathy are such gracious hosts--Kathy's delicious breakfast recipes, along with fruit cups containing 11 different fruits, are wonderful morning greetings...and Art's adventures in photos on poster boards are not only interesting to see and talk about, but always seem to teach you something new. Gracious is what Art and Kathy are...i.e., Art was waiting for us on the driveway with his umbrella when we returned from dinner on a rainy night.
