Nonno’s Pizzeria Deli & Catering

Saw the pictures and reviews on Google and it looked legit so decided to stop in for a pie. The homemade sauce was perfect and there was a good balance of cheese. The crust also had a nice crunch while also not being overdone. Definitely a spot I’d recommend to anyone who’s in the area. Ate half the pizza before I could take any pictures.

Wow the thin slice pizza is one the best I’ve ever had and I’ve been on pizza tours throughout the city to joes, prince st and etc and this takes the cake. The crust is crispy and crunchy without being burnt. There’s a thick (for thin slice) melted layer of cheese and marinara that’s perfect and there isn’t a hint of excess oil. Look at the photo ! No oil! The slice isn’t flabby when you pick it up and holds its shape right. It’s perfect. 10/10. I ordered a large pie and I’m 6 slices in and I can’t stop my wife is fighting me for a slice.

My first visit to this charming neighborhood pizzeria. I ordered a plain slice and a sausage slice and was very impressed. Sauce was rich and flavorful (I didn't touch the crushed red pepper shaker) and I liked the crisp crust. Cute garden seating for the nice weather. Is the place legit, you all? Well all i can say is Eros Ramazzotti was playing on the sound system.

Holy crap do these guys have awesome pizza! After being born in NJ and moving down south, it’s so nice to be back home and to have a good slice of pepperoni. Perfect crust. Nice and crunchy. Service was great. What’s not to love?

Sad to say that I don’t share the same feeling as those who gave this location 5 stars. I’m even more sad because it was because of their reviews that I decided to try this place out. We arrived to the restaurant 2 hours before closing and I was excited to eat there. I ordered a personal margherita and my boyfriend ordered a personal Hawaiian. Both were absolutely disgusting. The crust was dry. It was like cardboard. The flavor was something I had never encountered before on pizza, almost bitter. It was all around disgusting. I recently moved to the area and was hoping to make this one of my go to spots but it’s safe to say that I will not be returning.
