Nickel’s Pit BBQ Corning

Went here for the Sunday brunch and it was great! Got the smoked wings. They were cooked really well. The sauces with good. I would hey them again. The tater tots were nice and crispy! The sour cream and ranch that they came with really did the trick to take them up a notch. My mom got the brisket sandwich and it was really really good. I love fattier brisket, so it definitely sufficed. The Mac salad was pretty good. It wasn’t sweet like people usually make it which I did enjoy. I ended up getting a side to go. The service was quick and the atmosphere was welcoming and definitely gave you the barbecue joint feel.

We shared brisket and pulled pork platters, they were both outstanding. The brisket had a great flavor and was like butter. We also had the excellent fried pickles, had to take some home. I believe our waiter was Tom, but not positive was attentive and friendly, he did a great job. Only complaint was the greens were WAY too salty, i even heard the table next to us say the same. Overall a great experience

Great bbq restaurant! Food, staff, atmosphere were all great! We has a smorgasbord of food!! The pulled pork was tender and juicy, coleslaw was flavorful. We also go chili, corn bread, fried pickles(very thick!) Turkey, mac and cheese, nachos! All of it was delicious. They make an amazing magrita! The price for 6 people was hands down great! Keep up the good work.

Everything about this experience was wonderful! The atmosphere is cozy and adorable, the service was wonderful, and the food exceeded expectations! The brisket was delicious, the tots were crispy, and the chili was amazing! The sauce options were fun, I tried and loved them all! 10/10, will visit here again!

The brisket is superb!!! Meat is perfectly done. The various unique sauces are also great. Service is good. The place is small and many people want to dine so it is best to order in advance otherwise you have to wait or to be lucky. If you don't finish everything you can ask for takeaway....
