Newstead Public Library

Well stocked, well staffed, well placed piece of heaven on earth. This branch has some cozy nooks in which to settle in and hang out for awhile. The high ceiling makes it look both modern and majestic.

One of the best looking libraries in the whole system...not much to say about the variety here, though. However this is the best building in Akron besides the Octagon house.

Such friendly staff, super comfortable, and lots of nooks to hide in whether to read or work on the computer. The building itself is beautiful, and there's lots of activities for kids and seniors alike. They also allow printing from their computers for a small fee of 10c/page, which is awesome for those of us without printers at home. There is truly something for everyone there!

Wonderful place, great location, you can sit inside on the couches and over stuffed chairs, plenty of books to take out even dvds, they do sell used books and music dvds, clean rest rooms wonderful staff , willing to help you. 5 out of 5 stars

Bring my kids here frequently. Not a super big library but a great selection and the staff is just incredible. They are so friendly, especially to the kids and they are so helpful. We frequent at Audubon too as well and while they are very large with some cool features, the staff is so unfriendly and unhelpful. The women here are helping before you even know what you need and they are so happy to do so, very inviting. You can tell they want people there want people to come in and want to keep the library alive. Love our local library!
