🔥 Just had an awesome night at Newcastle Public House! The food was great (you have to try the Shepherd’s Pie 🤤), the service was top-notch, and the atmosphere couldn’t be more welcoming. Plus, the beer selection is seriously impressive 🍺🙌 — something for everyone! Already planning my next visit. Thank you to the wonderful folks at NPH 😎.

The shrimp appetizer is delicious! This is the second time I've had it, and it was just as I remembered. The chimichurri butter is amazing, and not spicy - which I really appreciate. We also had the reuben, crab cake and parmesan fries. Everything tasted great, and we'll be back soon!

This is what “medium well” looks like. My meal came so late everyone else as my table had finished theirs and my burger was still bleeding. This is the third time this has happened and will conclude my attempts to appreciate this otherwise very pleasant local establishment. At my request they took the cost of the burger off the bill but did nothing else to comp the deeply disappointing experience that was meant to be a celebration of my teen’s college acceptance.

Heaps of great beers on tap and really good bar food. Authentic feeling of a local’s bar with friendly Maine service.

Rolled in for dinner in the dead of winter and had a great meal! Super friendly owner and bar tender! Great beer list, delicious smoked haddock chowder, perfectly cooked burger. We will be back!
