We had the pleasure of dining at the newly opened Medicini for lunch and were completely blown away. From the moment we walked in, the experience was superb. The atmosphere strikes a perfect balance - it’s neat yet relaxing, with a warm ambiance that invites you to settle in. Even more impressive was the service, which was prompt, attentive, and genuinely great throughout our meal. We kicked off our culinary journey with a classic Caprese Salad and some delicious Cheesy Garlic Bread. Both appetizers were excellent - fresh, high-quality ingredients starting the meal on a high note. For our main courses, we sampled a bit of everything: a flavorful pizza, a perfectly crafted prosciutto and cheese sandwich, and the true standout dish, the Sage Gnocchi. The pizza was delightful, and the sand
it was pretty good...nice atmosphere and waitresses were kind and attentive. side salad was very fresh and yummy. ordered one of the specials (which weren't printed out-would be helpful) bowtie with pancetta & pistachio cream sauce which was very yum. ordered 3 desserts out of curiosity since they're all made in house- cannoli was good, tiramisu was meh-just tasted like whipped cream and ricotta lemon cake was dense and no flavor-not that great and pretty expensive. its a newer place, but better signage for direction to the restaurant would be helpful... and just throwing it out there-an espresso machine would be great since its an Italian restaurant. I liked the vibe though and would go again to try out other things on the menu :)
Over the last 6 weeks my wife and I have had several lunches and Dinners at Medicini. We have had something different each time including their Specials. Aways the food has been very tasty though I did add salt and pepper to many of the pasta dishes. The shrimp Piccata were hugh and delicious. My Mushroom /Spinach ravioli were large, not over cooked and with a savory cream sauce. The bar wait staff (Liana and Evelyn) are attentive and fun to be with, though it was not too busy. We are going back for music Sunday evening and hopefully the service is the same. I am grateful for Tim going for medium high Italian rather than a safer “more fried fish”. The immediate area needs the diversity and now we’ve got it thanks to the talent in the kitchen of Judd and Keith. The tables on the main flo
I grew up in NY and I can tell you this was an unforgettable Italian dining experience. For dinner, I had the spinach ravioli and my husband had the shrimp piccata. We had also enjoyed soup and salad for lunch. Everything is fresh, flavorful and beautifully presented. The service is attentive, the bar offers a good selection of the classics! Can’t wait to come back to this rustic and cozy place! (Oh, and don’t forget to order the cannoli cheesecake….Nonna would be proud!)
I would like to share my recent experience at the restaurant, which left much to be desired. To start I’d like to note that there were numerous open tables and most people were getting done as we arrived. Service: Our order took approximately 30 minutes to be taken, and we faced an additional 25 minutes of waiting for the check after requesting it four times. I also approached the bar inquiring about cashing out, but was informed that I could not do so there. Furthermore, I had to flag down the hostess for water refills. The atmosphere was quite loud due to karaoke night, which made it challenging to converse with my party. Food: I ordered the spinach ravioli, which was palatable; however, the mushroom sauce was excessively salty. The portion included about seven small raviolis for $30.
