I was recommended this place when I was searching for a quiet restaurant. It was wonderful. So nice to have a conversation without having to yell across the table. And the food was perfection. It was so delicious we immediately swore we would be back. Service was lovely too.

I was so fortunate to be treated to this amazing dining experience. We started with cocktails, calamari, a dozen oysters on the half shell and pan fried oysters. We moved on to a marvelous Shea Pinot noir. I had two smaller dishes; the sweet onion tart and beet arugula salad. My dining mates had the mahi mahi and duck confit respectively. We cleansed our palates with the trio of sorbets and finished with butterscotch pot de creme and the almond cake. Stellar!

Very nice, romantic and cosy atmosphere. We went there during Seattle's restaurant week. It included only part of the menue, but the food was very good, we enjoyed every bite, and had plenty of choices to choose from. I loved the Kobe Beef Wague steak. The waiter was super nice, and we enjoyed interacting with him. Will definitely be coming back.

We had a wonderful evening! It's been over 30 years since returning to Nells. It is just as good or better than I remember. I love the white linens as most upscale restaurants in Seattle have done away with those. All the food was fantastic, the server Skye was funny, helpful and had fantastic recommendations. The wine list is great! Lots of really excellent wines. We had two red burgundy bottles 125-190 respectively. Really delicious, paired great with the food. The desserts, butterscotch pudding, chocolate tart were yummy. The carrot cake was not very good but not the worst. That was the only item that wasn't very good. We did one tasting menu, all items were delicious. We had the shigoku oysters were fresh and the mignonette was so tasty. The steak was cooked perfectly and

We were here for a private party. For taking over the entire restaurant, and meals all at basically the same time, the service was great! The staff handle the event as true professionals. Our wine glasses were kept full, as well as the water glasses. I had the steak and veggies, while my better half had the mushroom risotto. We both thoroughly enjoyed our meals. The steak was prepared spectacularly, medium rare with a light sauce and pre cut into large slices. The risotto perfectly cooked. We cannot say enough about the onion tart! If you don't try it you will regret it!
