Hands down the best restaurant in Honesdale. Been coming for years. Love that they locally source local vendors. Steak was awesome in herb butter. The shrimp and burata on a smoked bread is off the charts. Caleb and his wife Alex do an amazing job Also there is a nice drink menu..

Had dinner last night for a friend's birthday. It was delicious. We started with the crab toast, venison tartare toast , shrimp toast , charred salad, duck pate. All of these were amazing. The carrot fritters were so flavorful I never had anything like that. The dinners were also very delicious. My only complaint would be i wish the ribeye was slightly bigger for the price but it tasted very good.

Maine style shrimp was the only thing I enjoyed. Do not get the short rib Mac n cheese if you have high standards for Mac n cheese! It’s really not good at all, I couldn’t finish it. The burrata is bland. Very nice ambiance. This place is not worth the hype.

I took my father to Native Restaurant for dinner, and it was phenomenal. We sat at the chef’s counter so he could watch the food being prepared—one of his favorite things—and it made the whole experience feel special and intimate. Every dish we had was absolutely delicious, made with fresh, high-quality ingredients. The attention to detail was outstanding. One of the highlights? The chef curated a sampling of hot sauces just for my dad, who’s a huge hot sauce enthusiast. That kind of personalized touch took the meal from great to unforgettable. It wasn’t just dinner—it was a true culinary experience. I highly recommend Native Restaurant to anyone who loves good food and thoughtful service. We’ll definitely be back.

Our server was Tara and she was terrific! Friendly, prompt, attentive, and professional. The food was fabulous. I grew up in Honesdale but moved away years ago. We come back often, but this was our first time at Native. It will not be our last! It's so nice to have an upscale dining experience in my hometown. The tomato tart was off-the-charts delicious. A+++. The crust was delicate, buttery, and obviously made with love. My wife had the creamed greens and salmon ravioli. She described them as decadent and delicious. I had the wild boar cavatelli and was thrilled with the depth of flavor. Great night for a birthday celebration! We'll be back!
