My Father's Pizza & Pasta

We made a stop here after a recommendation during breakfast, and I must say it was an excellent decision following a day of hiking and exploring multiple trails. We opted for the white pizza on the menu and added pepperoni to half of it. It was some of the best pizza I've had in a while. Paired with a cold beer and finished off with homemade carrot cake, which was exceptional. The service was great, with all staff being super friendly. Highly recommended if you're in town

I have been eating here for over 27 years. I moved away in high school but still visit several times a year. My family knows to plan our visit with at least one meal at My Father's. I'm married and have kids and it is their favorite as well. I have so many memories centered around eating at this lovely restaurant that even if the food sucked I'd still love it. Luckily, the food is the best part. I can confidently say that the Italian sandwich is one of the top five most delicious foods I've ever eaten, and I have quite the broad repertoire of foods I've tried. I've had delicious meals in Miami, New Orleans, Chicago, San Antonio, Charlotte, Denver, Nuremberg, etc The list goes on, but this sandwich from My Father's is a meal I will travel for until a time comes when I can no longer travel.

This place is a must have if you’re in the Black Mountain area. The pizza is always amazing but so are the appetizers and salads. On our most recent visit, we arrived 30 min before closing and they still accommodated us. Our server was especially kind and made some local drink recommendations for us. If weather permits, find a spot on the patio. It’s a vibe you don’t want to miss.

Meatballs are amazing. Pizza is good, not the best I have ever had but really good with a crispy crust. Outdoor patio is nice with oversozed umbrellas. We actually stayed outside during a slight rain shower.

the atmosphere is great (lively & vibrant), the restaurant itself is nice and clean, the pizza simply wasn't to our liking, we found it dry and overall underwhelming.
