Love, love, LOVE Lookout Brewing. Every single one of the employees is spectacular. They are some of the friendliest people I have met at an establishment. Inside they have tvs, games, and over the top decorations for almost every holiday. Check out their Facebook for events like trivia, bar crawls, and wine tastings. Their variety and consciousness in their craft of beer is out of this world. They do not offer liquor but they do have 1/2 price bottles of wine all day everyday, local NA options, and seltzers from Untitled Art. Very family and dog friendly. Parking is usually available and easy. Macs food truck, burgers and cheesesteaks, is open almost every night and is delicious. We stopped here after hiking not knowing they were closed. Owner couldn’t be more gracious offered us their can beer selection to purchase. Enjoyed our beers on their outside patio in a beautiful day! Highly recommend the Czech Pils. Bought a 4 pack to take home.

Another great brewery in Black Mountain. Dog friend, cool outdoor place, and excellent beer selection. I really enjoyed the Looking Glass Amber Ale.

Our bartender made selections for two flights and she was spot on! The German Pilsner gets 5 stars!

Have been a few times and it’s always been good. Wrote a review this time because it was above and beyond tonight. The patio is perfect, there are heaters, plenty of space, a fire, and a food truck. Beer is always great, love their staples and test batch. Hazy IPA was exceptionally good tonight. The bartender working today did such a great job of reading the room and making everyone comfortable. After being home bound for three days with two babies, it was so worth it to get out for a beer. Love lookout and so happy to be in their neighborhood!
