MP Chinese Kitchen

The restaurant is clean and not the usual take out look. This was my first and last order, the food was not up to the quality I would have expected. The fried dumplings were almost burnt, the egg rolls were big but mostly dough, and not crunchy at all. The Lo mein was flavorless, and the noodles were stiff and no sauce. The chicken and green beans were cooked well, but not very flavorful. The chicken and snow peas tasted bland, and no distinct taste of anything, no garlic, no ginger, just boring. I was hoping for the food to be much better, but even the white rice was hard and crunchy. Very disappointing.

Definitely overpriced for what it is. It is edible but won’t be getting again. Super average Chinese food. Egg drop soup was good! Big portions but not worth it.

Both times that I had gone in the afternoon with my mother to have lunch and were really disappointed with the food and the service we received. They used to be a decent restaurant when they had their store in Woodcliff Lake. Most recently we went to their new place in Montvale on Christmas Day when their holiday hours clearly showed 12-9 PM. The woman from behind the counter met us at the door and told us as we were walking in that they were closed. Mind you my mother is 88, has a walker, and to have to make her get out of the car at the curb and then to have to make her get back in when it’s already difficult for her to walk, that was utter and complete bull crap and highly inconvenient. Sorry people you are not getting my business anytime soon

Ordered takeout from MP kitchen and its the best chinese food in the area, hands down. Portions are super generous and food is fresh and flavorful.

First time ordering from there. From the moment I walked in I questioned myself but looked past it cause I was hungry. I got back home and food was horrible and I found a piece of wire from the wire brush they use to clean the wok in my food.
