Customer Reviews
Moontree Sushi and Tapas a good experience. The food was just ok, but the service was great and the vibe of the restaurant felt pretty good. Our server made the visit as she was nice and friendly. We ordered the edamame and it was overcooked. We mentioned it to our server who brought us a fresh order. The sushi was good, but not great. I think some of the flavors had an interesting mix that we weren’t ready for. I forgot the one specialty roll, but it had onions on top that took away from the other flavors. It was good, but just an interesting mix of flavors. The one we liked was the fried bites which was great. Overall, this place is in a nice location and has a good layout.
Went for Friday night dinner around 9. The place was not super busy and parking is right outside. They were pretty fast with the service. We got the nigiri combination with spicy tuna. It had some interesting combinations and the spicy tuna was pretty good. We also got negi hama roll which was nice and surprisingly small. I got the hama lava which was not super good. The sauce made the sushi soggy and to me did not complement well. I also got 2 old fashion which was nice. Service was superb and the staff were very nice.
We went there for the first time before our ballet show. The staff were really friendly, and he recommended great dishes for us especially the fish. The fish quality is superb!!! The dessert sampling plate for mochi was super good. We had a great time there. We will definitely visit it again in the future.
We were seated very quickly, and the menu selection was good. The server was kind, but he took my order incorrectly, which caused an extra wait. The donburi did not meet my expectations at all—especially for a $49 dish. It was mostly rice and didn’t look or feel worth the price. I also ordered a matcha sparkling water but was given a fruity one instead. When I asked the server to confirm, he said that was the only type they had, which was disappointing.
Very nice place with friendly and attentive staff and tasty sushi. Flexible to spicy/non spicy options. Loved how they served their dishes. The lunch for 3 cost us $113+tips. It was not very crowdy on Sunday.
