This place is awesome! The fries might not look amazing visually, but they're super crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, which is exactly how you want them to be. Interesting lineup of sauces as well, the photo is with the Parmesan truffle fries with a lemon dill sauce that was super tasty. Saw some other reviews complaining about frozen fries, which I would disregard. Those people are behind the times and don't understand that the best fries are flash frozen these days. Come here for a midday snack and a beer all at insanely reasonable prices, you won't be disappointed!
Such a great deal and delicious way to end a ski day. They give you a great serving for the snack size. Highly recommend the truffle fries and give the truffle ketchup a try.
Growing up on this mountain, we were so excited to try the new Moon Fries — and wow, YUM. The fries are delicious, but the real star is the lineup of special dipping sauces. Pair it with a beer and it’s the perfect mid ski snack or easy lunch. Definitely worth a stop when you’re on the mountain.
After a long day snowboarding at Copper Mountain, I arrived at Moon Fries absolutely starving—only to realize the restaurant had just closed. The door was half-open, so I peeked in to check the menu, and a gentleman (who I believe was the owner) kindly came over to let me know they were closed for the night. But instead of simply turning me away, he noticed how hungry I was and asked what I wanted to order. Even though the kitchen was already shutting down, he offered to make me some of their fries with a mix of their special sauces. And wow—those fries were incredible. What really stood out wasn’t just the food, but the kindness and compassion of the owner. In just a few minutes, he turned what could’ve been a disappointing moment into one of the most memorable dining experiences I’ve eve
As a self-proclaimed fry connoisseur who has sampled fries all over the world, I can confidently say Moon Fries rank among my absolute favorites. I ordered the Truffle Parmesan fries and the Moon Fries paired with the Chipotle Crema, and everything was incredible. Beyond the food, the staff is incredibly friendly, and I even had the chance to chat with the owner about how he started the business. I love supporting small businesses with a cool concept like this. If you are skiing Copper and need a delicious hot meal and a beer, this is the place to go.
