Customer Reviews
Everything was surprisingly good, honestly was not expecting great tasting food. The one thing I turned back because I thought was not good, meaning it was fermented, was the coleslaw. The cashier insisted that was the way it was intended to taste. However, I was able to exchange for something else. Brisket, Ribs, and Pulled Pork were great.
Pick up order: Fair price for what you receive, I do wish they offered sauces as the pulled pork needed some sauce. Staff was friendly and attentive. Ribs were falling off the bone but felt a little undercooked, but the flavor was great. Maybe order them well done. Pulled pork was flavorful and delicious, was just missing some dipping sauce. Coleslaw: to each their own, but their slaw was something I enjoyed. (Many places serve this differently, but this restaurant does a great job.) Cornbread: was good, maybe a little too buttery. I have had a lot of BBQ in this Summit county area and would be open to trying this place again. 7/10 would be review overall.
Great bbq! I got the ribs and brisket and it was what I expected. The sides were not bad. I tried all of the sauces and wish the spicy was more spicy. Overall, a solid place to stop by!
I hate to share negative things about local places but it is just my opinion. Here's the good stuff, got the 1 meat 2 side plate. The pulled pork was really good. Had a solid amount and they have sauces to go. I found the sauces ok to taste, nothing super exciting. Now I love coleslaw, I'm a purist and look forward to that snapy vinegar flavor. It was not that. I think they put mustard seed into it and maybe even mustard (not sure) but I couldnt eat it. So I was looking forward to my pile of bread and butter pickles, cause there's a pile of them. I was left wondering how one could mess up pickles. I would say if your on keto or paleo and are a pickle and coleslaw purist then maybe try something else.
We picked up a brisket lunch at Wildflower passing through Silverthrone not really expecting anything notable. Wow, lucky us for picking a great spot even just for carryout. Portions were great, lots of meat, delicious sides, most importantly meat that is cooked superbly. My brisket was perfectly moist and flavorful. I forgot what sauce I picked but it reminded me of a sweeter Kansas City style sauce; it was phenomenally good sauce. I wish I picked up more sauces to try. BBQ I wasn’t expecting to be this good and it was good enough that I wanted to say something about it. Heck I even just got take out and I wanted to write home about it.
