Monarch Pastries and Coffee House

I’m so pleasantly surprised by Monarch! I’ve been searching for a coffeeshop similar to this vibe. The ambiance was incredible. Great place to study. I got an iced painted lady (AMAZING, if you love a creamier/milky latte.) The coffee was not too sweet, which I m prefer, and my almond croissant was freshly baked out of the oven and was incredible. The staff was super friendly and welcoming. I would 10/10 come back.

SO STOKED to finally have a coffee-forward shop in the area. I prefer coffee with a hint of sweetness, and that’s exactly what Monarch offers. Their syrups being house made is just another huge bonus. The location is convenient, and the interior of the shop is gorgeous. The owners are precious. You can tell they’re so proud - understandably so! We loved it so much we went two days in a row. I also love the unique flavors of syrups that are offered, as well as their signature drinks. Makes ordering easy since there are suggestions to pick from. The cold brew, latte, and matcha were all delicious. We tried the pumpkin scone and it was great. Not too sweet, so it was perfect for breakfast. So so happy to have this gem of a spot in our corner of the city.

I've visit 2x during soft opening and it is AMAZING!!!! I've tried their Painted Lady latte & Clouded Yellow (banana) matcha latte. I loved both. Perfectly balanced flavors and not overly sweet (housemade syrups!). Their pastries are always good. I may just become a regular. Service is always above and beyond.

So glad to see more coffee shops opening around this area. Tried the swallowtail signature latte today and it was really delicious! The almond croissant and chocolate chip cookie were also very very good. Such a cute place with a relaxed atmosphere, and great service!

Came a couple days after grand opening. Been coming 3x a week since then. Clouded yellow matcha with banana soft top is amazing. Love the atmosphere. Not a complaint but just noticed that flavors on drinks are sometimes inconsistent but it’s brand new so I’m sure baristas are still learning. Love this place
