Ive been wanting to try this place for years and I am finally here!!! I got the smash burger and tots and I must say it was absolutely flavorful and delicious! Stop going to fast food restaurants where they don’t care about your health and come here! Big selection of items and sweet treats! Let’s give this local mom & pop shop our business! Local Kitchen & Market has been open for about three and a half years, and it has become one of my favorite spots in Friendswood. Paul, the owner, has built something special, a place that feels like everyone’s kitchen. The open kitchen concept makes it feel like you are right at home, watching good food being made with care. They offer dine in, takeout, and delivery, but one of my favorite things is the tasting table for oils and vinegars where you can sample, choose your favorites, and even have them bottled to take home. Sometimes you can also find Paul at the Rice Village Farmers Market sharing the same warmth and community spirit that makes this place so special. Absolutely delicious food! I have celiac disease and I appreciate all the delicious and safe gluten free options! Customer service was beyond welcoming and kind! We are excited to visit again soon!

I really enjoyed this restaurant! Everything was super fresh, from the ingredients to the perfectly toasted, buttery bun on my burger. You can really taste the quality in every bite. The atmosphere is clean and inviting, and it looks like they even keep some of the fresh ingredients visible, which adds to the charm. I haven’t had anything this good in Friendswood in a long time, definitely a new favorite spot! 😊
