Best flat white I’ve had so far in NOLA. This is a laid back coffee shop and roastery in a Quonset hut with a variety of seating options. Kind baristas. Not too crowded or noisy. Protein bars and homemade pastries. For non-coffee drinkers they offer a matcha latte and some bottled or canned options.
Loved it! This is such a cool space to sit and do some work while you get a peak into the roastery. Extra points for comfy chairs. My coffee was delicious and service was excellent.
You may want to avoid going in right at opening time, even if the doors are unlocked, the sign is out, and the garage is open—the staff might still be getting things ready for the day. When I arrived, I was kindly told someone would be right with me, which I completely understood, but then I was also told they weren’t open yet, even though it was already 7:00am. I know mornings can be busy and everyone needs a moment to get settled, but the experience felt a little underwhelming compared to other coffee shops. It’s definitely not the same vibe as Mojo’s on Magazine—they tend to be more early-bird-friendly, and I believe they have different owners as well. I’d highly recommend that shop if you’re looking for a smoother early-morning coffee experience.
Stopped in on a particularly gloomy and gross wet day in NOLA. This coffee cheered both my wife and I up. I enjoyed the quiet atmosphere. They roast their coffee beans and package them at this location. Very cool that you can see the full operation from your seat.
Delicious small roastery, exceptional flavor in their espresso (so good my husband got two of them)! I enjoyed the New Orleans cold brew, their cold brew with a shot of chicory. We’ll be back!
