Miyazaki sushi &IZAKAYA

We had an exceptional dining experience. The food was outstanding, and we’re so glad we decided to stop by. Arriving right at opening time worked out perfectly, and it’s easy to see that this place is going to become very popular. We ordered the Step to Heaven, Ankimo, sizzling steak, and sushi. Everything was fantastic. The sushi was especially impressive and truly memorable, and the steak was incredibly flavorful and delicious. Our server was amazing—full of energy and genuinely passionate about making sure every guest had a great experience. It’s clear this restaurant is headed for great things in Kona. I highly recommend checking it out now, before reservations become a must. We can’t wait to come back and try more of the sushi on the menu!

Honestly I have read so many amazing reviews about this place and they are true!! I have eaten here 3 times since they opened only about a week and a half ago! I cannot get enough of the innovative sushi and unique flavors! Hands down and up because this is the BEST sushi place in Kona. We need a place like this in Kona to bring back the life in this tired town and give us somewhere with an amazing ambience to sit and eat. I was blown away by the decor and the look of the place, it truly made me feel as if I was in Japan. The food is on it's own scale!!! The tastes, the presentation and the quality is above and beyond. I am so impressed and just taken away by the care that goes into each dish. I totally recommend the Maui Dole Roll, Hawaii Roll, Miyazaki Roll and the VIP Roll!!! Th

Miyazaki is hands-down the best sushi spot in Kailua-Kona right now. From the moment you walk in, you can tell this place takes pride in what they do. The fish is incredibly fresh, the presentation is clean and intentional, and every bite tastes like it was crafted by people who truly care about quality. The ingredients and seafood are second to none ! Especially the “Uni” & “toro” rolls — you can taste the difference immediately. Nothing feels rushed or mass-produced; everything is thoughtful and dialed in. And the sushi taco? Absolute must-order. It’s creative, perfectly balanced, and one of those items you’ll keep thinking about after you leave. What makes this place even more special is that it’s owned and run by a beautiful young family who clearly pour their heart into the restaur

First had the tacos at home, my partner brought them home for me to try…SO ‘ono. Back again for a second time to try the double hamachi roll and Inari bomb. Atmosphere is beautiful and relaxing. Definitely be back again!

Really enjoyed my visit here. The sushi tasted fresh and it was well-made with beautiful presentation, and the staff were kind and welcoming. It felt like a place that genuinely cares about the quality of their food and the experience they give guests. I’d happily come back again.🍣🍱🍜
