Stop by for the convenient storefront, come back again and again for the top tier sashimi and understated but excellent hospitality. All our rolls and nigiri were mmmmmmm good. I have not been to Japan, but my companion has. Our meal was competitive on flavor and quality, and right here in Capitola. You know how miso soup can be a forgettable way to wait for your meal? Not here. Subtle and flavorful, make sure you enjoy some along with a memorable taste of Japan.

Fast, fresh, and tasty Japanese cuisine. Greatt if you are in need a quick bite that is high quality. I was there for 30 minutes and was able to enjoy a miso soup and bento box. Would return.

Our first visit, the service was decent and the food was delicious. Most items were served quickly although the lion roll took quite a long time after everything else was served, even though the restaurant was relatively empty. I visit again

The food is good, but I have to say I’m not sure if it’s the owners but they like to hover over you when you eat. It’s very uncomfortable and strange. I think they’re weirded out by a single woman by their self probably won’t be back.
