Mike's Palace

I was a little unsure about coming here because of the reviews but said hell with it after a long morning of fishing. We got seated right away, ordered food and drinks within 10 minutes. Waitress was by herself but did a nice job. Burgers were amazing and zucchini was good. They have beer on tap and wines. It was a good time.

This restaurant was a popular one with a long wait. We couldn't get a table on day 1 without reservations but came back at 5 pm on another day and were seated promptly. Vegetarian options were limited but tasty. The zucchini fries were great. Tried the beetroot with warm goat cheese, that was delicious too. Great selection of beer and wine. Good service. Check this place out if you are in the beautiful city of Valdez!

Came in for dinner and don't know that I've ever been so disappointed with a restaurant. I ordered one of their specials, the chimichanga, and don't know that I've ever had worse tasting food in my entire life. The chimichanga was just filled with a little bit of cheese and chunks of unseasoned roast. That is NOT a chimichanga. Furthermore, the guacamole was nothing more than Wholly Gaucamole, and their salsa had an extremely bitter, rotten aftertaste. When I raised my concern with the server, she told me I'd still be charged for the item because it's not her fault I didn't like the food, and, ultimately, nothing was actually wrong with it. Considering I ordered a chimichanga and got something nothing like it that tasted horrible, I would say it's their fault and not mine. I ordered ques

Very delicious! Service was great and the food was delicious. I had the 1.5 lb king crab meal which was a little pricey but cooked great and delicious. It also came with spaghetti and veggies. Hi s got pizza

We stopped Den for lunch, and they weren't very busy, but the food was outstanding. I would say definitely put this stuff on your list if you spend any time in Valdez .
