Sam's Spot

New gem of Alaska! We stopped at Sam's Place for a breakfast today - so glad we found this place! The place is located in a very unique building, the atmosphere is authentic, the owner is very welcoming. The food was absolutely delicious! We ordered a breakfast burrito and a chicken fried steak - it was sooooo good! We brought the burrito with us for a road trip, and it was amazing even cold after hours of sitting in a bag. Can't believe the whole place is ran by one lady! I hope this place flourishes❤️

I ordered the chocolate chip pancakes and a side of bacon. They were very good. Service was excellent and friendly. Very nice to see a good breakfast place open in Valdez! Thank you!

Very cozy type of place that serves some delicious breakfast. I ordered a chicken fried steak with hashbrowns and eggs. It was a delicious plate and recommend it. Thanks Sam! Can’t wait to come back!

Sam is AMAZING!!! And Smart. We planned a long weekend in Valdez and we are sooooo happy we found a great breakfast place with GOOD COFFEE!!! We really looked forward to our morning at Sam's Spot; and just so you know if you have to wait a few extra minutes for her service; well it is well worth the wait!!! Self serve unlimited coffee is genius. She is very professional and fast!! We wish every Small Business Owner would show the same Energy and Appreciation for their Patrons like she did!!! She has a good variety to offer and the Quiche was yummy and a large slice at that!!! Do not leave Valdez without having breakfast at Sam's!!! Thank you girl!!!
