Magpie's On The Fly

Magpies is a sign of summertime in Valdez. With a variety of events, artists and karaoke each week it’s one of my favorite places to go to burn the midnight sun. The owner is a lovely person and works hard to cultivate the culture of Valdez. Serving pastries, sandwiches, coffee, tea and specials you’ll always be surprised by Magpies!

I am on the road exploring Alaska and while I was in Valdez.... I spent most of my nights here at Magpie's. The food was delicious, the staff was super friendly and outgoing, the beer was cold and the music was outstanding. I went for open mic night as well (twice).... a good time!! Looking forward to getting back again!!

The best earl grey tea latte ever had. The carrot cake was so rich and delicious. Scones here are light and delightful. Real good service.

This is a great place! The atmosphere is great. The karaoke is fun and they have a nice selection of beer and wine along with food. They serve breakfast through dinner and even have a dinner theater.
