Mia's Brooklyn Bakery

Tried the black out chocolate cake and cheesecake. Both slices were delicious, textures were on point! Left wanting to return! Update: ordered my sisters birthday cake from here (carrot ) the texture was dense and dry despite leaving it at room temp :/ frosting and decorations were nice

All the baked goods look and smell incredible. You cannot go wrong when ordering here! FESTINI created the balloons at Mia's Brooklyn Bakery for one of their events. Highly recommend them! 🎈🧁

I was excited to find a bakery in Chestnut Hill, but unfortunately the experience was quite disappointing. We ordered avocado toast, a strawberry shortcake, and milk-based coffees. The strawberry shortcake’s strawberry was stale and the cake itself was extremely dry. It was past 2 p.m., yet there were still so many cakes left in the display, after tasting it, I can understand why. The avocado toast was also underwhelming. It was simply bread with a large amount of avocado spread that had a very mushy, baby-food-like texture. At $12, it definitely did not feel worth the price. Our lattes were served in very small cups and cost over $7 each with oat milk. On top of that, about a third of the cup was foam, which made the portion feel even smaller. We came here just to get desserts to go. It was hard to pick out just 3 desserts because everything looked so good! Ultimately we settled on the chocolate fudge cake, the 7 layer chocolate cake, and the oreo cheesecake. All 3 cakes were delicious! Moist and flavorful with just the right amount of sweetness! Service was friendly and quick. We can’t wait to go back and try more items from the menu.

Genuinely do not think you can go wrong with a single pastry in this bakery. We went with the strawberry shortcake and blueberry lemon shortcake and did not disappoint!
