Van Leeuwen Ice Cream

I brought my mom and little sister here for some ice cream. The ice cream was delicious and the employee was very friendly. We ended up leaving before we were ready to because we saw a mouse run across the restaurant and into the bathroom. We are terrified of mice and obviously lost our appetite after that

Passion fruit sorbet was very sour yet incredibly tasty. Loved it. All the flavors we got (mint chocolate and Italian hazelnut) were delicious and big scoop. Staff was nice and friendly.

I came here from a friend’s recommendation. However I was disappointed. The ice cream was too sweet and loaded with additional items, like cheesecake, and cookies. If you like kitchen sink ice cream this is the place to go. However they lack in the simple flavor department. In addition with New England being the homeland of ice cream, you need to churn in house. This place will fall out of favor when the next chain moves in.

For an event, FESTINI created some balloons at entrance of Van Leeuwen. Delicious ice cream. We love it there! 🎈🍦

Their ice cream is very creamy and delicious. My favorite combo is the peanut butter brownie honeycomb and Sicilian pistachio. Chef's kiss!
