Mesquite Mexican Grill

We were in town for a long weekend doing our own little Stranger Things tour. We ate at a few locations in town and will have to say Mesquite was the best by far. It's a lot bigger than it appears, so there is plenty of seating. They have a little bar you can pull up to as well. It is a little aged, not sure how long its been around, but by the looks quite awhile. Service was quick and attentive. I really liked their salsa, really liked it. My wife also got some cheese dip, which she enjoyed. She Got a chicken chimichanga and beef taco. She liked the chili, but said the beef was a little blah. She ordered one of the biggest margaritas I've seen, we were laughing because we thought I would be carrying her out. She said it tasted great, but was a bit on the weak side, she could wal

I went on Christmas Eve, and even though the restaurant was very busy, the service was still fast and efficient. It was my first time there, and the food was very tasty and incredibly fresh. Highly recommend!

We were really surprised at how delicious the food was!!! They had a good-sized menu with decent pricing. We were with family (6 of us total), and they were able to get us into a booth quickly without much of a wait at all. I had the cheese dip, burrito bandera, and my husband had the police special. The cheese dip was a bit thin but tasted great!! Food came out fast and everyone enjoyed it!! I will definitely be going back!!!

Mexican as good asit gets, fast service, friendly staff and super good food. Highly recommend

I guess this is the best and only in town. While there was a steady flow of patrons, I cannot begin to understand why. I had a chicken taco salad that had ZERO taste/flavor. Yuck! It came out with the shell already soggy. The tomatoes were mush aka way over ripe. No pico. The best thing were the jalapenos in the salad. No one questioned why there was a plate of salad left on the table? My hubby ordered bbq nachos. He said the sauce was too sweet. I tasted and agreed. The salsa lacks luster. Tasted like canned tomato sauce with some additives to try and make it taste like salsa. Service was slow and dry. First and last visit.
