Smashin Burgers

We were in town doing a Stranger Things trip. This place was just down from us, so we thought we'd give'm a try. Overall the food was good. Nothing amazing, but pretty solid. They have a few Stranger Things themed items, we ended up getting the eggo dessert. We had to move outside because the fire alarm went off and the fire department had to clear us to go back in. Not a lot of food options in the area, so they had a decent amount of people there. It's a old gas station converted, but they make it work. Good sized deck out front, probably pretty nice in warmer weather.

What stood out the most was the actual seasoning on the burgers; it was savory, well-cooked, and smashed to perfection. The bun was not greasy, which we really appreciated. The strawberry shake was not overly sweet, had a moderate thickness, and made fresh. The fries were one of the main areas of critique. A little more salt would have done wonders, and they weren’t super hot, even though we ate the straight out of the kitchen. The work staff was kind and provided good recommendations. The restaurant, however, was freezing on the inside. Keep that in mind if you intend on dining in.

Lady there that tooky order very nice, polite and delightful. The food was excellent. Got the Jala smash burger with peach jam... WHAT THE..... AHHH AMAZING. Onion rings where good as well especially with theor smash sauce. Yeah I'll be back.

A Hidden Gem for Burger Lovers! Friday night, my husband and I were trying to decide where to eat, and after a long drive to McDonough (which was a huge mistake thanks to traffic!), we decided to try a recommendation from our daughter-in-law. She suggested Smashin' Burgers in Jackson which that is our home town a place we had passed by countless times but never stopped at. I’m so glad we finally gave it a shot! As a picky eater, especially when it comes to ground beef, I was pleasantly surprised. The burgers were on point. Juicy, flavorful, and cooked just right. The vibe was casual and welcoming, perfect for a relaxed night out. From now on, this will definitely be our go-to spot for Friday date nights, and we’ll be sure to tell all our family and friends about it. Highly recommend!

I got the Demodog Fries and my husband got the Smash Burger Fries and they were both absolutely delicious!! Prices are great for the amount of food you get! Such a cool little hole in the wall place especially if you like Stranger Things!!
