Mellow Mushroom Wilmington

Had not been to a mellow mushroom in 30 years. The last one I was at was in Stone Mountain Georgia. Really a wonderful surprise. Pizza was definitely better than I remember it. Furthermore I think this is my favorite pizza in the Wilmington area. Great setting wonderful wait staff.

This is probably one of our favorite Mellow Mushroom locations! The vibe is always on point — fun, welcoming, and just the right mix of laid-back and lively. The food is consistently delicious, fresh, and full of flavor every single time we visit. You can tell they take pride in what they serve. The restaurant is also always very clean, which makes the whole experience even better. Great atmosphere, great food, and a great overall experience. We’ll definitely keep coming back! 🍕✨

My pizza turned out great! I ordered the 14" with 3 topping being bacon (actual strips of bacon too) and double jalapeños. Absolutely amazing! My aunt order two slices cause she thought theyd be smaller than the 12" pizza but when they came out they were massive slices that dwarfed the 12". We all got a good chuckle as she only ate one slice. Theres creative decorations and artwork everywhere you look inside and out. My favorite being the 70s bus outside. This is a definite must stop when Im in the area. I highly recommend!

The pizza is great, tasty and decently priced. The atmosphere is more or less for the college crowd however its not noisy by any means. They have an outdoor area where you can sit and eat. There are booths and high seating tables/chairs on the inside. Nice place to hang out in parties of 3 possibly 4. Seating is limited and walking areas are pretty tight. Great lighting, a little quaint if you will.

How in the world do you make a pizza without sauce? Like legit really? I ordered a medium thin crust cheese pizza. How can you call yourself a cook / chef and make a pizza without sauce? Come on now???? What in the world!!! Done and over this restaurant.
