Mei's China Palace

Been a couple times, and service and food is always excellent! Family owned restaurant serving up classic fare. Good dumplings! Amazing noodles. Worth popping in just to try or even putting into your normal rotation of restaurants.

Consistently good food. Takes a bit to get your food and don't be surprised when you're dishes are served and then in a few minutes they come back with the rice and plates. They could vastly improve the atmosphere simply by turning down the overhead lights so it doesn't feel like a cafeteria.

Finding good Chinese food at times, especially in a small town, is sometimes a daunting experience. Mei's did not disappoint. As you walk in the restaurant, it has a calming atmosphere with a couple of aquariums that literally had many large orange fish STARING at you (It was erie but quite cool), comfy booths and soothing music. Our server was super sweet and efficient, the food came out super fast, and the teapot was the largest I have ever seen at a Chinese restaurant 😀. Their lunch special consists of an entree, fried or white rice, and a crab rangoon or an egg roll. Most all priced around $10.95! I called in an order to be picked up. The food was great. But there must have been some confusion when I ordered. I ordered 3 lunch specials and one dinner special. When it came time to pay it was almost $80.00 for 4 meals. Two of the meals were for kids. My husband picked up the meals after he was home and I viewed our ticket I called to ask about it stating i did not order dinner meals. There was absolutely no attempt to resolve "THEIR" mistake. All I was really even looking for was acknowledgement and an apology. I understand mistakes happen and i am not bitter about it. But at this point I am not sure we will be back simply because of the lack of customer respect and taking no responsibility for their mistake. I had sesame chicken for lunch today and let me tell you, I have never been disappointed here ever! The food is SO DELICIOUS and fresh! The owner and everybody here is so nice as well! If you’re debating if you want to come here or not, well don’t, I’ll save you some time here, just come here, you will love it too!
