Some places just stick with you 🤍🍦 The Scoop is one of those places. From the very first visit with my mom, I felt the warmth the second we walked in. The 50s vibe, the nostalgia, the feeling of being transported back to a simpler time—it instantly reminded me of going to an ice cream shop as a kid and getting Play-Doh and a sugar cookie. I casually shared that memory once… and they remembered. Not only did they order Play-Doh, but they remembered me and my order the next time I came in. I have never felt so seen or special in a local shop. New flavors every visit, genuine care for their customers, and the kind of hospitality that builds real community. Four cars waiting for 3pm and the owners opened early to serve each car full! Always offering smiling faces, delicious ice cream, tastiest waffle cones and the best guest service! Highly recommend!

My daughter and I stopped in one day after school and I'm so happy we did! I've been wanting to try their ice cream ever since they opened! I had a sample of the Dark Cherry and Brown Butter Bourbon Truffle. Both are amazing! I decided to have the BBBT, it was so yummy! Next time I will have the Dark Cherry! The owners are very pleasant and the seating areas are wonderfully retro! They even had Elvis playing through the speakers! I can't wait to come back!

Ice tastes amazing and the service has been top tier every time we are there. I love the option to be able to taste test before buying to make sure you like it. Definitely recommend.

Family night out in Mount Pleasant ended perfectly at this little ice cream shop. It was SO good — the service was truly 10/10. We were offered tons of samples, and the staff was incredibly kind and welcoming. I went with Sugar Cookie + Cake Batter, the kids went with traditional chocolate– all were amazing! We’ve heard nothing but rave reviews and this place lived up to the hype. Such a sweet way to end the night with my favorite people. We’ll definitely be back!
