Jefferson Street Grill

We wanted to support a local spot and try something new. Parking was a challenge given how busy the area is, but we lucked out with a close spot. Restaurant is casual and what I would expect for the menu. My husband had the Smokehouse Burger and sweet potato fries. He said the burger was cooked perfectly to temp, though it was a bit on the dry side. Sweet potatoes fries were tasty. I had the Smokehouse Chicken. I appreciated that it was real chicken and not a processed patty, though the breading had a specific spice I didn't love. The onion straws were a bit big and too crunchy. One actually clunked on my plate. The BBQ sauce was also a bit overwhelming. If you order it, I suggest getting the sauce on the side and opting for the grilled chicken to cut down on the grease. When we walked in, there was a sign to seat ourselves. Thankfully we found a table because it was busy! Very popular place! My food did not have much flavor even though it was covered in onions but my husband enjoyed his meal. My drink order was wrong and I had to get up to ask for silverware because we didn't have any when the food came and the waitress hadn't been by in a while. Other than that it was a fine experience.

The bar side looked great as well, but the food and service was excellent! Went with our family and the staff was accommodating and pleasant. The food was all amazing! (Pictured: 121 Burger w/fries). Everything was great and good prices too!

We stopped in the Jefferson St Grill on a whim and we were happily surprised! We were seated immediately…Tina the owner/server was friendly and efficient. The atmosphere is cozy…lots of booths each having its own theme and signage… Fun! My partner got a Ruben, which was excellent! We both agreed that it was one of the best Rubens we had ever had. The salad was fresh spring mix not just iceberg with excellent ranch dressing! I got a classic cheeseburger with cheddar. (I love it when restaurants offer cheddar, not just American cheese.) the burger was a touch more done than I like, but I didn’t think about asking about a temperature. Staff was really helpful and nice when it came to the menu. Everything tastes good. Hometown bar and grill vibes. Had appetizers, spicy cauliflower was great!! Also had a salad and my boyfriend had a grilled chicken sandwich. Definitely clean oil, everything that was fried had no after taste.
