Customer Reviews
The food portions were decent with reasonable pricing, and the menu offers good variety. The staff was attentive. Flavor-wise, the dishes were good, though there’s room for improvement. We ordered both the vermicelli and beaf pho. The fresh spring roll appetizer was delicious. The restaurant has a pleasant atmosphere with a street view, but the restrooms could be better maintained.
So close to leaving a 5 star review. The food was amazing until I found at least 3 hairs in my food. Unfortunately I found them well into dinner. These hairs are not mine as I have long brown hair…
You can tell a lot about a restaurant by the amount of takeout business it does, because it reflects both value and quality. Meekong does a lot of takeout, and it's well-deserved. The food was excellent. The service was slow, but they were understaffed and overwhelmed. The restaurant was full, and I only saw two people seated, while the rest were busy cleaning, taking orders, and delivering food, which was pretty impressive. The seating consists of standard metal stacking chairs, commonly found at many restaurants (especially outdoors). It's a fairly utilitarian restaurant, except for the odd "box of condoms" at the front door. Some locals recommended Mekong to me as well. It's a solid choice, and possibly the best for this type of food. I recommend it.
The food was absolutely delicious. We had the chicken Pho, the vermicelli bowl and the fresh spring rolls. The restaurant is in a very cute street, with madure trees that were changing colors for the season, and watching them from the window was a plus. The restaurant has a nice vibe to it and the staff is very kind too.
Came by on a quick lunch break and enjoyed my experience. I had the Hue style beef soup. Everything was very tasty and kept me warm in the Seattle rain. I liked the variety of meat and the spicy soup base gave me a lovely numbing mouth feel. I will say I think they accidentally gave me lettuce instead of cilantro, or I could’ve been mistaken. Either way, this is a great spot.
