Mav's Top Buns

I finally made the trip out to Mav’s to try their buns and I’m so glad I did! The buns are pillowy and the cream cheese frosting is divine. I liked all the flavors we tried but honestly the OG is the best. Very impressed. Totally worth the hype.

Mav's Top Buns was absolutely wonderful as we went there for the first time in March 2026. We got a box of an OG, a blueberry crumb, thin mint and banana pudding. They were all absolutely delicious with just the right amount of doughiness and sweetness, without being overly sweet as many buns often tend to be. Service was terrific as well and the new owners are great people, who seem to truly care about both their customers and their staff. We'll definitely be back for more buns. Can't wait to see what flavors they come out with next!

I had never really been into matcha before coming here, but the baristas, both named Molly which I thought was so funny, completely changed that for me. They recommended the strawberry matcha with tiramisu cold foam, and honestly, it was incredible. The flavors were balanced perfectly, sweet, creamy, and just the right amount of matcha earthiness. It totally made me a matcha believer. My friend also loved her blueberry cobbler matcha by the way! The whole place has such a good vibe. It’s super clean, cozy, and everyone working there was friendly and easy to talk to. You can tell they really enjoy what they do. I also noticed they sell the buns seared, which looked amazing, and I’ll definitely be coming back to try one next time. If you’re a coffee or matcha person, or even if you’re not,

I’m just in awe of how much the hype is real!!!! Went in New Year’s Eve to pick up a box of mini cinnamon buns and their cookies they released for the day, and OMG those cookies are the best cookies I ever had in my LIFE. I’m not exaggerating. And the cinnamon rolls are amazing!!!! I heated them up for 35 seconds and they were perfect. I love the mini ones cause there almost bite sized. Definitely will be going back again.

These are the most delicious cinnamon buns I have ever had. I used to be obsessed with Cinnabon when I was a kid, but MAV'S TOP BUNS are ONE MILLION times better. Make sure to eat them hot! Their cream cheese frosting is heavenly. Can't wait to buy a bunch of the mini buns and share with coworkers!
