Mattituck-Laurel Library

This is a great Library. They are making improvement in the parking lot so that is one drawback, right now you have to park in the church parking lot and watch what way you are to enter. The librarians are happy to help you get a new card or find a book. The reference desk is also very helpful and they have computers to use if you need too.

Moved out to Jamesport a little over 2 years ago. We border Laurel. Mattituck-Laurel is the closest library to us, though we are technically in the Riverhead mailing district. Children's Department has some great programs, and is a pleasant environment for children. I have tried to get involved in this library numerous times because it is so much closer to me. However, when trying to rent a movie or take out a book, register for a program, staff is extremely snooty when you do not belong to Laurel-Mattituck township. I don't really understand it. It is often also very loud when trying to get work done on the computer. I am saddened to say I have had a much more all-around better experience at the Cutchogue Library, only 5-7 more minutes down the road. They are farther away from me but much

The reason why I love Mattituck Laurel Library is because They have old computers and stuff, and They even have new computers too, I wish I can come here someday, Sure, I would love to bring my parents and siblings here.

Defensive driving course instructor Linda Greco did an EXCELLENT JOB and was well appreciated by her students!!!!!

Note that Google maps has the wrong hours. The library is closed on Sunday. The hours posted on the door say Sunday 1pm to 4pm September to June.
