Cedar House on Sound B&B

Located on the North Fork, the charming Cedar House B&B is definitely a place you want to stay. The hosts, Dave and Donna, were very welcoming and made us feel right at home. The whole place was beautifully decorated with holiday decor. Our Vineyard facing room featured a comfortable sleigh bed with high quality sheets. Breakfast in the morning was an amazing French toast with an unusual twist along with eggs and bacon. We highly recommend Cedar House B&B and we will be back!

We got married this past June and used Cedar House for our bridal party to stay and get ready at. We couldn't have picked a better spot for our wedding weekend. Dave is a wonderful, lively host who makes you feel so at home. He was so accommodating to our bridal party and wedding vendors. The rooms are very nice, plenty of space in common areas for everyone to hang out and socialize, including a stocked bar, a ton of games, and a backyard with a vineyard. He cooks a unique breakfast every morning and every time it was unbelievable. We've already booked a weekend to go back on our one-year anniversary. We absolutely loved Cedar House and can't wait to go back next year!

What a gem you are, Cedar House on Sound!||Our family had a wonderful weekend at Cedar House on Sound. Owners Dave and Donna immediately made us feel at home as they welcomed us to their B&B. ||Within the space, and throughout the lawn, there were multiple gathering areas to spend time with friends, enjoy the fire pit, play pool, or lounge at the bar with great wine selections.||Our bedroom was charming, spacious, and clean. The bed was remarkably comfortable and the bathroom had a great shower.||Every morning started with a delicious, creative breakfast. Flavorful dishes, great coffee, beautiful dining area, just the perfect way to begin the day. We loved staying with Dave and Donna! They make you feel like family. The rooms are beautiful and have everything you need. The common areas are also beautiful and so cozy and homey. We really felt comfortable hanging out and playing pool. The grounds are lovely too. Sit in the sunny courtyard and enjoy your morning coffee, like I did. The breakfast was delicious and creative. The best kept bargain on the North Fork! We don't get out that way too often but plan to stay here next time we do.

My husband and I, and my in laws, had a really lovely stay here for a long weekend in August. Dave and Donna are probably the best proprietors I’ve ever encountered across my time staying at a number of B&Bs. They really went out of their way to make us feel welcome, comfortable, and really well fed. Dave went above and beyond to accommodate for us, including some of our (not easy) dietary limitations, and honestly made some of the best breakfasts I’ve had (ever). And he helped arrange for us a wonderful beach day. Aside from the amazing hosts, the property is beautiful, comfortable, and spacious- with a number of spaces and options for people to hang out, outside of their rooms. The landscaping was stunning, the room was peaceful and had everything we needed/wanted, and Dave and Donna see
