Martin´s Firepit BBQ & Steakhouse

So good we went back the next day for a second dinner! It does not look like much from the outside, but the food and service were fantastic. First night, we tried the sampler platter, and everything was great. They were out of sausage, but the chicken and ribs were very tender. The pulled pork and brisket had great flavor. The garlic bread was out of this world too! The second night, we had more ribs and steak. So flavorful! As for sides, we recommend the Mac-n-Cheese and the onion rings. My wife liked the cole slaw, but I felt it needed some more vinegar. Highly recommend Martin's! We will be back when we pass through Perry.

The dining area was clean. The utensils were of low quality. The menu was small. The 20oz ribeye was decent but was not a fifty dollar steak. The service was prompt and polite. I didn’t like that all the staff spoke among themselves in a language that I didn’t know throughout the entirety of our visit.

Great food, fast and friendly service. Outside you might think about driving past. Don't! Inside is good BBQ at a fair price served by nice people!

Truly, a must stop place to discover when passing through Perry off of Highway 19. Charming location with excellent barbecue, very authentic and attentive staff. Perfect example of don’t judge a book by its cover, We actually drove by it by mistake and found it when we turned around. Evidently, they’re waiting for their new sign to go up. Lol. Park and go in, the place inside is beautiful.

What a surprise! Don’t let the outside fool you! This is an absolute treasure. Delicious BBQ, served with a smile and southern Charm, Jonathan was most attentive! Everything was delicious, brisket and chicken were so tender and juicy. Will definitely visit again. Thank you!
