Maria's Italian Kitchen

This was my first time here. My aunt's job orders from here. This is a nice cozy restaurant. I love how friendly the staff was. The service was great and the food came out quick. We ordered some bread which was soooooo good. It was nice and warm. Then we ordered some calamari as an appetizer. This gave me time to review the wine list. They had some great wine options that are organic and biodynamics. I tried the Tuscany II red. For my main dish, I ordered some gnocchi in pesto sauce with a side of breaded chicken. Don't judge me. I was wanting some protein. My family ordered some pizza with sausage and ravioli. The food was really good. It came out hot and quick. We went on a Friday afternoon around 4:30pm. I was so disappointed at Maria's today. This used to be one of my favorite restaurants. The pizza was greasy and just not a very good quality today. I was also disappointed with my salmon. But I was especially disappointed with the service. I hope they realize that they are falling and do something about it

Excellent restaurant! I can not believe we live in the valley for over 16 years, and never been here (or maybe many years ago, and I forgot). We went today at 6pm, for my daughter in law's B-Day. Although it was raining , we didn't want to cancel it, since we already had a reservation. The restaurant is beautiful, the food was delicious! We were a group of 8 adults and 6 kids. We ordered a few appetizers, different dish for each of us (included the kids), and about 5-6 deserts. EVERYTHING was fresh and tasty. Every dish was just delicious! I don't think you can go wrong here. Our server was amazing, very kind and attentive. If you love Italian restaurant, do yourself a favor, and visit this place.

We love coming here for lunch. The staff are very attentive and very kind. Nice, cozy, booths & cute front patio. This time I had the chicken piccata, which was extremely moist and flavorful and cooked to perfection. And the broccoli had such a wonderful mesquite flavor from the grill. I think it’s the best broccoli I’ve ever eaten. He had the chicken marsala and it was excellent as well. He really loves this bread. It’s like focaccia with fresh herbs on it. Melanie was our server and she was perfect. We will definitely be back.

A few weeks ago I arrived at the restaurant with my family. The old servers were horrified / shocked from the youth and happiness of my children, and had concerned looks from the moment we walked in. The restaurant has two separate areas. We were sitting alone in an area that was completely empty before we arrived. The kids were running around a long table at the edge of that space - as far away as possible from the other guests of the restaurant. None of those guests looked at us or cared about us. The kids were running around but they were not loud - I wouldn't let them interfere with other people's experience. It was just the restaurant staff that weirdly kept looking at us, not knowing what to do. Children and happiness, God forbid. At some point, the shift manager came up to me and
