Sushi Shin is a hidden gem! The atmosphere is intimate and welcoming, and the chef’s energy and charisma make the whole experience unforgettable. Every dish bursts with freshness — you can really taste that the fish comes straight from the downtown market. A perfect spot for authentic sushi lovers!

Chef is super funny and chatty. He loves explaining details about the food. Strongly recommend arriving on time, be early rather than be late. Sushi pieces were excellent. Appetizer to start was a very interesting mix of items. Dining experience felt very intimate. Only our group and another group were there. Worth the cost. Do not let the external location fool you, it is a lovely experience, and the food is excellent.

Super fun chef! Small group and reservation only! Food is spectacular. The chef explained every dish that he prepared and shared a lot of stories and jokes as well. Well fed and well entertained. It would run you $250 a head. But if you gotta do omakase, you gotta do it at Shin!

A super intimate dining experience for about $250 per head (no alcohol) depending on what you order and the season. We enjoyed speaking with the sushi chef and it was a delight hearing each story and how each fish and dish was specially and carefully curated from different parts of the world. We thought the whole cooked small crab was unique and it tasted like chips as he described. Dessert is extra and as always, I recommend trying both. I hope to come back for another special occasion, soon! Making a reservation was really easy and the owners are very accommodating. I was able to call on off hours to make the reservation a few days in advance.

If you love, love, love SUSHI. You need to go here simple as that it’s an enjoyable dining experience with the best of what’s available in the raw fish world along with beautiful stories of each item prepared for you. Pair it with a saki that you enjoy
