Customer Reviews
In a world filled with chain restaurants and "me too" dining, it's great to know places like Mangos and Marley still exist. A quaint cafe in Dunedin, the Johnston family has created a place of good vibes, positive energy, and great food. Catering to beer lovers and people that want to eat healthy/delicious food, this is a place to come in and experience that life is good.
We tried to order the black bean hummus and apparently the truck didn’t deliver it? I found it odd they don’t make it at the restaurant especially when the other menu items had a lot of black beans on plates. The tostada was very crunchy, guacamole w/ shredded coconut on top. The crab cakes were light, fresh and tasty according to our friends. My husband asked for steak Cuban bowl, he was served shredded chuck roast kind of meat, it was fine. I ordered steak quesadillas, my meat was the same tough, dry shredded beef of some sort. Our server was friendly, took a minute to bring an extra plate for appetizers, wanted our orders first. It was an underwhelming early dinner.
Wonderful chill, little Cuban place. So fresh and stylish with appropriately-portioned and priced dishes. Absolutely loved the sweet and savory Bahama bowl and the Mango iced tea is perfectly sweetened (not too much!) Everyone enjoyed their meals, including the kiddos who all took grilled cheeses which are made with crusty bread. Overall, great experience!
Everything was absolutely DELICIOUS! Wonderful atmosphere, freshest meals, tasty mango ice tea! We will definitely be going back for more!
This is our new favorite place in Dunedin! So many beers to choose from and the food is amazing. Wife had crab cakes (yummy) and I had the Ropa Vieja (called The Abuela). Super good. Bartender was fantastic. Highly recommend.
