Mangia Bella at Elijah Mcleans

My girls and I went out for a belated birthday dinner here. The Garlic Steak bite appetizer definitely stole the show in my opinion wonderful flavor so much so I was soaking up every last drop of the juices in the dish with my dinner roll. For my main course I ordered something I've never had..scallops and they were very good. I tried a little bit of my daughter's salmon and it was great as was the onion soup my other daughter ordered. I took home some deserts and both the cheesecake and tiramisu were delicious. I don't think the prices were too outrageous because all of our food was good and the service was excellent.

We’ve visited Mangia Bella at Elijah McLean’s twice now, always dining in the bar, and each time has been nothing short of fantastic. The food is consistently outstanding. Its fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. I especially love the cranberry orange salad; it’s bright, refreshing, and perfectly balanced. The daily soups are always a treat that's comforting, creative, and clearly made with care. And the Basque cheesecake? Absolutely divine! Creamy, rich, and the perfect ending to a great meal. Dinner out with my 11yr old daughter tonight, and this was the best dining experience Ive had in years. Simply described: this restaurant would be considered a very nice restaurant even if it was located in Ladue. Way too nice for our town and I hope it lasts for decades. It's the kind of place you'd take your girl's parents to announce your recent engagement. Tip: get the house salad dressing (cream Italian vinegarette I think?) it's fantastic

What an amazing gem! The food was fabulous, well prepared, presented and fresh. We live in another part of Mo, and are so excited to find a true 4-5 star dining experience well worth the distance. Highly recommend the starter of bread and cheese, Gouda mushroom soup, and beet salad. So a wonderful respite from the holiday fare. Paired with the pomegranate cocktail with the Pinkley Bend gin instead of vodka. A wonderful Monday evening, we will be back.

Absolutely beautiful historic location with a well stocked bar, delicious food, and the perfect setting for any special outing or just because. Sunday brunch recently launched as well!
