Mallard's Roadhouse

This place looks like a hunters lodge on the inside and is really well decorated! The service was very helpful and they were busy so that means a lot. I got the tenderloin sandwich with fries and better be hungry cause it's huge! It's more like 2 sandwiches! The wife and daughter got the pulled pork nachos tots and loved them. I had a taste and it was good. My son got the cheeseburger and fries and loved it too! If you are on the highway and looking for a place to eat, this is the place to stop and grab a bite!!!

I absolutely loved the wood paneling in this restaurant! The service was good and it was nice and quiet even with the TVs on. We went in between the lunch and dinner rush times. My boyfriend had a mushroom burger with fries and I had a fried chicken meal with mashed potatoes (gravey on the side) and green beans. My boyfriend loved the burger (I don't like mushrooms so I didn't taste it). I tried a fry and it was REALLY good. The potatoes and green beans were also very good and filling. Only downside; the friend chicken was not the best. It was dry and mostly breading. The breading just fell off when I tried to cut into it. I was offered another piece but we'd had a long day and we're just ready to get home. Im sure if I had accepted, it would have been good.

Busy local restaurant bar, warm atmosphere and friendly staff. Full menu from steaks to burgers. 6 tap beers and a full bar. I had the sirloin, loaded baked potato and green beans. I wasn’t disappointed. Definitely a stop back in place.

The service was great. It was busy but we were seated right away. The fries were good but a little salty and the pork tenderloin sandwich was fantastic. The brisket sandwich had fatty slices, unfortunately, so the husband wanted to swap meals because he didn't like it.

Stopped here while traveling from St Joe to Springfield. There was no wait. The service was fast. The servers were very friendly and attentive. The food was great. It tasted fresh and was very hot. I highly recommend the sweet potato fries with the marshmallow fluff! The burger was thick and juicy and full of flavor!
